Mum passed away on the 21st October 2015 - aka Back to the Future 2 day. She hadn't been in good health for a long time due to osteoarthritis. She had been in constant pain for years. Her last few months were pain free, allowing her to return to the loving, caring mum we all remembered. We were so lucky to have this time with her. We wouldn't have been able to cope without the help we got from the Sue Ryder PEPs team, with trained nurses at the end of the telephone day and night, when we most needed their advice. So it seems very fitting that if people want to donate in her memory the money goes to continue funding this wonderful service. Unlike some memory giving sites, this one never closes, you can keep on donating in memory of mum each year if you want to.
